Nephrology Nurse and Technician Career Mobility Scholarship

Awarded in partnership by the National Kidney Foundation Council of Nephrology Nurses & Technicians (CNNT) and the Nephrology Nursing Certification Commission (NNCC), the next scholarship application will be available in March 2026.

Eligibility Requirements

  • be a National Kidney Foundation Nurse or Technician member for at least 1 year prior to applying
  • be a current NKF Nurse or Technician member at the time of applying
  • be an NNCC-certified nurse; Certified Nephrology Nurse® (CNN®)/Certified Dialysis Nurse® (CDN®) -OR- be an NNCC-certified technician; Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician® (CCHT®)/Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician® - Advanced (CCHT-A®)
  • be actively involved in nephrology patient care services
  • submit two (2) letters of recommendation
  • provide verification of acceptance to or current enrollment in an accredited health sciences program/course and pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in nephrology nursing or technician fields

Funding Amount: $3,000 for one year, up to 3 scholarships will be awarded in 2026
