NKF Member Announcements

Spring 2025 NKF Professional Membership Call was a huge success!

Thank you to the over 100 members who joined us on March 19th for a deep dive into our Transplants for All initiative, including updates on our work with xenotransplantation.

The recording of the presentation and the slides are available on the All Member Call page.

Seeking Renal Dietitians with Lived Experience in Various Cultures! Can you help or do you know someone who can?

The National Kidney Foundation in partnership with The Council of Renal Nutrition are developing an educational series for patients to provide information about nutritional needs as it relates to different cultures. We are seeking volunteer Renal Dietitians with lived experience within each culture (see list below) to develop content for the Cultural Series.  The content will be available on the NKF’s nutrition hub titled The NKF Nutrition Coach  and located prominently on the page.

We are actively recruiting with the hopes to get more renal dietitians involved that have perspective and background within each of the following suggested cultures and are open to suggestions:

·        Black American
·        Indigenous
·        Mexican American
·        South American
·        Chinese American
·        Asian Indian
·        Filipino American
·        Japanese American
·        Southeast Asian
·        Middle Eastern

We are looking for help not only in developing the content but also reviewing the content.  If you are interested, please complete the form found HERE or forward to any intersted renal dietitians. Someone from our team will be in touch.
